Who I am
I've been doing street photography since around 2011, before I knew it had a name.
Ten years ago I decided to take it seriously. Since then I've had exhibitions, I self-published a book, 100% independently and built a community around this genre of photography and around my YouTube channel, which was named the third best in the country at the F64 Romanian Visual Awards in 2025.
What this is and isn’t
This workshop is not a formal study of the art of photography, it doesn't aim to replace years of university education, it's not book-taught theory.
Instead, it's something you don't learn in universities, it's about what actually works when you're out on the street, about how to avoid and/or manage conflicts. It’s about when and whether we ask permission for a shot, about when, how, and whether we interact with our subjects. It is also about when we use the basic rules of composition and when we sidestep or simply break them altogether, and, most importantly, how we use judgment to tell the difference between these moments.
This workshop will not teach you how to use a camera; we start from the assumption that you already have at least basic understanding of concepts such as shutter speeds, which aperture to use and when, ISO, etc.
This isn't a workshop for people looking for recipes. It's for those who've already been shooting for a while and want honest, personal feedback based on my experience.
Three days, structured as follows:
Friday, October 9 2026, 17.00 - 21.00
Introductions. I'll show you my portfolio, then we'll look at yours. We'll identify you strengths and any difficulties you're facing, where you're starting from, what you want to change, and where you want to get to.
Saturday, October 10, 2026
09.00 - 11.00 Open discussion, Q&A
11.00 - 17.00 Shooting individually or in small groups
17.00 - 21.00 Feedback and analysis based on your images from the first day
Sunday, October 11, 2026

PRICING
💶 Early bird: €120, until August 15. After: €150.
👥 Maximum 10 spots.
⭐ One (1) single Premium spot: €300. One-on-one approach. I'll personally accompany you Saturday and Sunday, to the spots I know from ten years of shooting around Arad. Only one spot available.
📋 Cancellations: up to September 15 — full refund. September 15 – October 1 — 50% or credit toward a future workshop. After October 1 — no refund, but you can transfer your spot to someone else.
📍 Location: Cafeneaua Literară Joy's, with access to excellent coffee, the best beer in town, delicious burgers, and the best chicken ribs I've ever had.
⚠️ Food, beverages, transportation, and accommodation are not included in the price.
❗The workshop will only run if a minimum of five (5) people sign up. Amounts paid will be fully refunded to registrants if the workshop is cancelled for this reason.
